We have started our AWANA Club and invite all students aged 3 (starting in September) through students in the 6th grade. This is program free of charge that is designed to encourage students to not only memorize, but learn and apply what scripture is about. Students also are encouraged to do service and mission projects.
As students meet the beginning requirements, they are provided with a uniform upon which their ranks and awards will be displayed. Toward the end of the meeting, students will participate in a game time that isn’t overly competitive, but extremely fun. All students can learn their age-appropriate material and students of any ability can enjoy our games. One exciting bonus comes from the fact that we know students are spending considerable part of their evening with us. At the end of the meeting time, the deacons of the church provide a meal. ALL are welcome! We even encourage families to hang around and see what is going on!
